Meeting Notes 8/30/2018

Joel Huffman has put his name in the hat of 1 name for President Elect 2019-2020 and Joe Kosner has put his name in the hat for 2020-2021. I wanted to make sure Joel only served 1 term, we can only take so much White Sox talk.

Special guest Lorenz Von Arx In-bound from Switzerland 3 years ago came by for a visit. Pictured below is new in-bound Noah Habets, Linda Callaghan and Lorenz.


Noah had his first cross country meet and finished 69 out of 90 and he will be competing this weekend in Lyons Township. Great job Noah!

September 9th is a benefit for Linda's brother Keith in Elburn. Keith was recently working and fell off of a roof and became paralyzed. Because he was self employed worker's comp does not cover him. The benefit is to help the family with medical and every day bills.



Former in-bound from France Chloe is looking to Intern in the area for a law firm during the summer of 2019. If you know anyone please contact Sue Debolt.

Victoria fundraiser last weekend was a huge success.

RYLA is coming up October 5, 6 and 7. If you have time on Saturday the 6th to volunteer at the reality store please see Sue or Chris

Fellowship Event November 4 at D&G Brewery in St Charles. A craft beer brewery opened by Guy Groot's daughter and son in-law.

Guest Speaker Johanna Jameson from Memory Farm
 
Memory Farm is a facility for Alzhiemer patients and their caregivers. They offer a hands on outdoor experience and the cost is $11 per hour. They are located in Kaneville and the website is www.memoryfarmllc.com.

Joel finished the Tuff Mudder event which an endurance course team event
Linda for the fact we have a PE and PEE.
Chris for the role Rotary has played in his and his families lives. After the recent loss of Lisa's brother, they really felt the love
