Meeting March 29

Joe Kosner  | Published on Wednesday, March 29, 2017
This morning our meeting was started promptly at 7:08am with the ringing of the bell.

The DelToro family blessed with their presence this morning as Antonio is selling paintings to help support an exchange trip to Costa Rica through Up With People. You can see the paintings by going to Julieta Del Toro Facebook page. Great to see a family that has been so supportive of our exchange program having hosted 4 kids in the past.

Guest Speaker
Our guest speaker today Dan Van Heften told us about Abe Lincoln and the Structure of Reason. Lincoln used geometry as a way of writing his speeches and this is a practice used by many including Newt Gingrich and President Obama.

Chloe Update
Chloe has been smacking the birdy around for WAHS Badminton. Next week she will be traveling to New York City to meet up with other children of parents from her dad's place of employment. This is an annual trip for the 18 year olds.

16th Annual Wine & Chocolate planning has begun with sponsorships decided on and can be found by clicking on the link on the home page as well as the Auction Item letter. Price will drop to $75 this year and we have a new sponsorship level for small businesses.

Funny that's all I remember

We sang Happy Birthday to Dr. Dave and Peter.

Some bald guy had the winning ticket and the guaranteed $10 winner for end of month. All of those tired of him acting surprised when his ticket is called raise your hand!
