May Meeting Updates

Joe Kosner  | Published on Wednesday, June 3, 2015
It was quite a busy month of May at the Sunrise Club.

Mera has pounded the pavement and knocked on doors and twisted arms to get the 20 members needed to charter the Rotary Club of Montgomery. Charter night will also be induction night on July 8th at Belle Salle Banquets in Aurora. More details on that to follow.

We have 2 new applications in for membership. Attorney Bill Price and Database Consultant Dan Howard have applied and if you have any questions about their membership please contact Tom Clark.

Monday June 29 the Aurora Noon Club will have Rotary Director Elect Jennifer Jones as their speaker. To RSVP please send an email to Mary Dougherty at msd2050@aol.com or 630-408-5381.

As you can see by the home page of this site we are having a Rotary Day at the Kane County Cougars game July 19th. For tickets print the sheet and get it in or register online.

We are looking for host families for next years students. We have 2 girls coming inbound from Turkey and Venezuela.

50/50
We had no winners in May after 3 in a row in April so the pot is growing once again.

Congratulations to Tom Clark for achieving another Paul Harris Fellow

Great programs coming up in June so come on in for a visit.
