Chris Olson trip to Uganda
Our president-elect Chris Olson spent some time on a mission trip to Uganda. There they helped improve the conditions of Amahoro Children's Home. While in Uganda he came across some local Rotarians and we are now attempting to put together an International Project for water wells. A tap for this project will added to the website soon.
These brave women have had to endure many atrocities. Their success in getting an education is a testament to their resiliency and determination.
Bob MacGregor Staying On The Case
Bob has spent a great deal of his life in the Middle East and he came to give his views of what is going on there. Bob has helped start chambers of commerce, study groups, and joined Rotary Clubs around the world. To hear a first hand account of the terror in this area of the world reminds us of how blessed we are in the US, but also how important this region is to our safety as well. There is hatred there that has gone on for centuries and because the US is involved, that hatred is also pointed at us. It is Bob's opinion and facts do back up that Iran is the leader in funding, training and housing terrorists organizations.
