General Meeting

Aurora Sunrise Rotary  | Published on Wednesday, August 20, 2014
Lorenz Von Arx came in today to introduce himself before he started his first day at West Aurora High School. In the near future his contact information will be available to members on the website so that we can invite him along on family events. Laura Romero's information will also be available for this purpose. Remember them whenever you can because their host families are already doing so much and need our help.
Paul Harris Fellows were recognized along with new Fellows Joe Kosner and Brian Olsen

Committees were discussed and Chairperson's of the committees were decided. Later this week the committee page on the website will be updated to reflect this. We will continue the discussion next Wednesday as we do not have a program due to cancelling the Thursday night meeting.
 50/50 Raffle
You know who had the winning ticket. I think he rubs his own bald head for good luck. But it only half worked as he did not get the prized joker. The pot is building and should be close to $150 next week with a guaranteed $10 winner.
Next week we have our usual meeting at 7am and this should be Laura's first time meeting us. Let's make sure we give her a warm Sunrise Rotary welcome.
The youth page of the website will be the go to page for those interested in going on exchange. Important dates will be posted there as well as the questionairre that needs to be filled out prior to the club interviews.
Brian if your reading this, welcome to the website!
