Member News and Happy Thoughts

Rev. Mark will be presenting at the Illinois Conference of Churches next week. I hope they put a time limit on his presentation.

Hal and Bridgette were looking for something to do one day, so they decided to hike the GRAND CANYON!!!! Running into burning buildings isn't enough for this guy? So they enountered some ice at the very beginning right next to steep ledge. Most of us would of headed back to the bus and found a nice bar to sit back and contemplate what could have been. Not these two, off they went down the canyon and then back up again. That's a vacation?

Re. Mark reprted that February 22nd is Ash Wednesday and there will be a group administering ashes at local train stations for those on go.

Karen Olsen had tickets to the MMA fight in Joliet, wait isn't that just the 3rd shift for the Joliet PD? Well anyways she has a table for selling tickets for the Harley Raffle and she hopes to have a motorcycle on display.
